nvcinema bda driver

NVCinema BDA Driver

Any idea what this driver is for under Other devices, I can not find any driver for it

That's funny, I've got that too. I only started playing with 5308 yesterday and since apparently I didn't need whatever it was, I ignored it for the time being. I've got an Nvidia graphics card in that box, and my guess is that it has something to do with that. I should probably install drivers from Nvidia to see what happens since I just let Vista install its own. Want to be brave and see if Nvidia drivers install and let us know what happens? :-)

It sounds like it is for a tuner. BDA is the Broadcast Driver Architecture used for TV Tuners under MCE.

That does make sense, except I haven't got a TV tuner card. Maybe it is just part of the Nvidia driver architecture.

It may have something to do with the s-video side of it TIVO or something like that as my s-video on the card is 7 pin
